The 2008 GMC Acadia is available with a front-wheel or all-wheel-drive option. A 275-horsepower, 3.6-liter, V-6 engine is spread over a broad rpm range. The fuel economy of the front-wheel drive is rated at 16/24 mpg (city/highway), while the AWD model is rated at 16/22 mpg (city/highway). The Acadia’s towing capacity is 4,500 pounds. Body and Styling |
Standard on the SLE-1 and SLT models are seats for eight passengers, while a rearview camera and a second-row console are available on upper trim levels. The SLE has 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear air conditioning, full power accessories, cruise control, OnStar telematics, and a six-speaker CD/MP3 stereo system with satellite radio. The SLT-1 has heated mirrors equipped with integral turn signals; triple-zone automatic climate control; leather seating with heated/power front seats; second-row captain's chairs; Bose 10-speaker audio system with steering-wheel audio controls; and six-disc CD changer. The SLT-2 comes with rear park assist, remote vehicle startup, power rear lift gate, 115-volt power outlet, and power lumbar supports for the front seats. Cargo space is nearly 117 cubic feet when all the seats are folded down. |
